Hell's Kitchen is an independent, Employee-Owned restaurant that's been feeding the masses in the heart of downtown Minneapolis for over 20 years! Whether you're in town for a concert, sporting event, conference, or a hearty brunch, we've got you covered. 

Stop in for our legendary food (including breakfast all day long), check out our epic 60-foot Bloody Mary & Screwmosa Bar, listen to local legends on stage during weekend brunch & dinner service, and try our award-winning dinner options, hand-crafted cocktails, & and tap list FULL of Minnesota beers

We welcome you to Hell’s famous Bloody Mary and Screwmosa Bar, a mind-blowing array of garnishes totaling 60 feet!. 

When you’re here for our brunch fare, you’ll be able to choose from our award-winning Classic Bloody or Mimosa ($11.95 each), or for just $5 more, take a trip down our black icicle hallway and create your own deluxe Bloody featuring 243 hot sauces, gourmet rim salts, olives, meats, cheeses, peppers and dozens of other garnishes. OR make a magnificent Mimosa from an array of juice options, fresh fruit, candies, and a whirlwind of other colorful and creative options - if you’re choosing the bubbly & fruit juice route, you’ll also be able to add a ‘bump’ of one of our delicious house-made vodka flavor infusions to turn your creation into a Screwmosa at no additional cost!


We’re thrilled to have fantastic local musicians performing live on our stage during dinner service every Saturday evening from 6pm to 9pm as well as for brunch service every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 1pm. We also have the occasional late night events! Check out our calendar for a full list of performers.

Hell’s Kitchen has been 100% employee-owned since January 1st, 2020 in the form of an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), which lets the employees buy the company from the founders not with their own money, but from future profits. This means that 41 employee-owners from both our front and back of house are now shareholders, and includes nearly a dozen people who have been with us for more than a decade. Our talented workforce is backed by the strong senior leadership team of employee-owners pictured, whose dedication, industry smarts, and critical thinking skills have been instrumental in keeping Hell’s Kitchen alive and thriving.

PLEASE READ. All dine-in checks include a 15% service charge, and all to-go, delivery and curbside pick-up orders include a 20% service charge. 100% of these charges are distributed to our employees in order to keep compensation as fair as possible to everyone. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute §177.23, Subd. 9, this Service Charge is not a gratuity for employee service.
Regardless of the Service Charge, some guests ask if they can still leave an optional tip for their servers or bartenders. While it’s not required and certainly not expected, 100% of any tip you leave goes to the service staff and is gratefully appreciated.

Our professional FOH employees share the entire FOH scope by rotating through every position (host, server, bartender, expo, wait assist, dishwasher, shipping, etc) and are the FACE of our employee-owned indie restaurant, and you bet your sweet ass these exemplary individuals understand the true meaning of hospitality, delivering genuinely superb customer service day after day, no matter what.

In return, we value our FOH team as professionals, and hopefully you'll agree that the compensation reflects our respect for the work these pros do.

Our BOH kitchen crew is driven by a fierce desire to make our award-winning recipes consistently spot-on while juggling a zillion details in a hotter than hell, madder than hell environment. Just kidding on the "madder than hell" part! (umm, sort of...) 

Over the years, we've learned that a calm, highly organized kitchen with kind, fair, and smart leaders makes for a good work environment no matter how overwhelmingly busy we get (and yes, Hell does get intense at times).
